Canadian immigration via Express Entry requires an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated body such as WES (World Education Services) or ICAS. These bodies require that Nepali academic documents (degree certificates, transcripts) be submitted with certified English translations. Hamro Notary provides translations accepted by WES and other IRCC-designated ECA organisations.

WES requires translations to accompany the original documents sent directly from the issuing institution. Hamro Notary can prepare the certified translation of the documents while your university sends the originals separately. We advise clients on how to coordinate this two-track submission.

Study permit applicants also need certified translations of academic records, language test results, and financial documents. We handle all Nepali-language documents for the complete study permit application package.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Does WES accept translations from Nepal?

Yes. WES accepts certified translations prepared anywhere, as long as they are accurate and complete. Submit your certified translation alongside the original (sent from the issuing institution).

Do I need to get the translation notarised for WES?

WES does not require notarisation, but some employers and provinces prefer it. We offer notarised translations for a small additional fee.

My TU transcript is in Nepali and English — do I still need translation?

If the transcript is already in English, no translation is required. For Nepali-only portions, we translate only those sections.
